Madelyn and Nate’s wedding day at Veterans Terrace in Burlington was nothing short of beautiful. The sun was shining, a soft breeze filled the air, and the riverfront setting just outside downtown Burlington made for the perfect backdrop.
From the very beginning, the day was filled with heartfelt moments. Their ceremony took place in the charming courtyard, strung with twinkle lights that gave the space such an intimate atmosphere. One of the most meaningful details was that Madelyn’s brother officiated, making the ceremony deeply personal and emotional. The couple also exchanged their own handwritten vows; there wasn’t a dry eye in sight.
Portraits around the venue were stunning, from sweeping shots with Veterans Terrace in the
background to romantic under-the-veil moments and portraits beneath the string lights. Madelyn knew exactly what she envisioned, and capturing those requests was such a joy.
The reception had its own unforgettable touches. Before guests entered, Madelyn and Nate got a private room reveal of their beautifully set reception space, a sweet pause to soak it all in together. Later, they made a fun grand entrance with a celebratory shot at the bar, setting the tone for a night full of laughter and joy.
One of my favorite parts of the day came during the first dances. Held in the courtyard, guests watched from above as the couple shared quiet, tender moments together. Even though surrounded by loved ones, it felt like time stood still just for them.
Madelyn and Nate’s day was such a perfect reflection of their love: joyful, heartfelt, and full of intentional details. It was an honor to capture every moment of their beautiful celebration at Veterans Terrace.
