A Love Story That Began at UW–Whitewater
Some love stories begin in the most unexpected places. For Sara and Conner, it all started while they were both attending UW–Whitewater and working together at the Whitewater Walmart. Their friendship eventually grew into a relationship that led them to this beautiful June wedding day surrounded by the people they love most.

A Romantic Outdoor Ceremony at Mercantile Hall
Nestled in the heart of Burlington, Wisconsin, Mercantile Hall provided the perfect setting for Sara and Conner’s celebration. They exchanged vows during an outdoor ceremony filled with soft summer light, creating an elegant and relaxed atmosphere for family and friends.
Their wedding design embraced a timeless pastel color palette. The bridesmaids wore dusty green-blue dresses while bouquets featured sage greenery paired with soft dusty and blush pink blooms, adding a romantic touch to every detail.

A Quiet First Look Beneath the Ivy Wall
One of my favorite moments from the day was Sara and Conner’s first look in front of Mercantile Hall’s beautiful ivy wall. Taking a few quiet moments together before the ceremony allowed them to slow down, soak everything in, and enjoy the excitement of seeing each other for the first time on their wedding day.
Not only was it an incredibly meaningful moment, but it also created some of my favorite portraits from the entire gallery.
An Intimate Wedding Surrounded by Their Closest People
With a smaller bridal party, the entire day felt personal and intentional. There was no rush—just meaningful conversations, genuine laughter, and plenty of time spent with the people who matter most.
Intimate weddings like Sara and Conner’s always remind me that it’s not about the size of the celebration, but about the connections shared throughout the day.

Golden Hour Portraits in Downtown Burlington
As the evening settled in, we explored downtown Burlington for sunset portraits. The warm golden light paired beautifully with the historic streets, creating the perfect backdrop for some truly romantic images.
Golden hour is often one of my favorite parts of a wedding day. The pace slows down, the excitement of the day begins to sink in, and couples get a few peaceful moments together as newlyweds.

Congratulations, Sara & Conner
Sara and Conner’s wedding was the perfect combination of timeless details, heartfelt moments, and intentional celebration. It was such an honor to document this incredible day, and I’m so grateful to have been part of it.
Congratulations again to you both! I wish you a lifetime filled with laughter, adventure, and many more beautiful moments together.
